This page is designed to show you a little bit more about me and where I spend my time. It's a little more indepth information about what really makes up me and my world...what is important to me, what makes me who I am, where my priorities lay. Each icon is linked to a site with more information, if interested in reading more.
My Work
As most of the people reading this know, I work for Walgreens. I've been with the company just about seven years now and the time has really flown by. If you would have told me my first day that I'd stick around for years, I never would have believed you. I've worked my way up, by means of several different jobs and positions, to be an assistant manager. It's had its ups and downs, but you do what you have to do. There are many, many people who have helped me to get where I'm at today. It's weird to wonder where I might be today if I had never worked for Walgreens. Many of my lasting friendships were made through the company. Who knows where my future lies with the company, but right now it's treating me pretty well.
My Education
This is pretty boring stuff, but I attended Pennoyer Elementary School in Norridge, IL for all 9 years, all the way through 8th grade. Maine South High School in Park Ridge was the high school where I attended. I got to be pretty active in different service type organizations in the later part of my high school years. For college, I chose to attend North Park College in Chicago. I have my undergraduate degree in English/Writing from this school. I am currently back in school, attending Concordia University, River Forest, IL. I am really enjoying my time in class and can't wait for the day when I finish my MAT, Elementary Education.

My Worship
The only church I regularly attend right now is Willowcreek Community Church in Barrington. I have been going to services there for close to two years now and it's amazing how my life has landed me back in church. Due to several opportunities and seeds being planted, I have made many friends through Willow and Axis. I really feel my spiritual journey would have never began to grow, had I not been introduced to Willow. Several months after attending services, I was introduced to the Axis services, which opened many new doors and opportunities for me to grow and learn. I am truly blessed for the people who've shown me God's way and who are continually helping me walk through my spiritual journey.
